## About

Anette - Printer brought into space by @ubershy and @cake64

## Specification

The Anette printer is based on Anet A6 but it's changed a lot.

1. PSU: 600W *(not sure, but it's BIG)*, 12V *(that sucks, I know*)
2. Motherboard: SKR 1.4 Turbo
   *Quirk: pins for second extruder heater are used instead for a heatsink fan on the on the first (and only) extruder, so the heatsink fan can have PWM and turn on only when needed.*
3. Installed drivers: All a4488 *(good for extruder and Z, but for XY quiter drivers can be bought)*
4. Firmware: **Klipper** ✨ (Marlin compatible)
5. Build volume: 220x220x170 *(170mm height can be safely upped to 190mm in the firmware, I think)*
6. Extruder:

   1. Trianglelab BMG dual geared extruder clone
   2. Extruder motor: 1.8deg NEMA17 23MM (pancake)
   3. Auto bed leveling sensor: original **BLTouch 3.1** ✨
   4. Hotend: Trianglelab E3D V6 hotend clone

      1. Heat break: Trianglelab GRADE5 V6 titanium alloy heat break (**Fullmetal** ✨)
      2. Heater cartridge: Trianglelab 6\*20MM 12V / 24V 50W
      3. Silicone sock *(please take it off when heating nozzle >250C)*
      4. Trianglelab T-D500 Temperature Sensor 500℃ *(provides unprecise measurements with temps below 100C, but it's okay)*
      5. Various [assortment of V6 nozzles](https://wiki.hackem.cc/ru/equipment/tools/nozzles.jpg)
7. Heat Bed:

   1. 200x200mmm silicone heater pad 200W *(not sure)*, works in parallel with the original 220x220x3 aluminium 120W heatbed
   2. **2x Wham Bam Flexible Build System** ✨ [info](https://whambamsystems.com/flexible-build-system) and [short overview](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMJ_P_5z53c) *(spare parts in the printer supplies box)*

      1. Wham Bam Flexi Magnetic Base (high temp-resistant up to 150 degrees with high temp 3M adhesive)
      2. Wham Bam Flexi Build Plate (spring steel) (2)
      3. PEX Build Surface film on build plate (4 spare)
      4. PEI Build surface (on 2nd Flexi Build Plate)

The are lots of printable changes. If some 3D printed part breaks, you can ask @ubershy, and she will provide models (or links to models) or even source files.

## Display

There's an adapter for a display cable on EXT1 — and *it does a lot of re-pinning, so don't ignore it!*
EXT2 is only used for it's beeper pin, and **if plugged in directly will stop USB UART from working**.
You only need one wire, as shown on a picture below

## Power management

In order to reduce power consumption, an advantage of a controlled power supply had been taken.

Annette features an MeanWell [HRPG-600](https://www.meanwell.com/Upload/PDF/HRPG-600/HRPG-600-spec.pdf) power supply with additional connector, including AUX +5v standby supply, and RC inputs allowing to snooze the main power output (24V 27A).

That control needs digital input, and the current through the circuit constitutes only 0.5 mA @ 5V when the PSU is in sleep mode.

Thus, the following connection have been made (see \[last diagram](<https://docs.vorondesign.com/build/electrical/images/SKR-V1.4-pinout.jpg>) \[here](<https://docs.vorondesign.com/build/electrical/v2_skr14_wiring.html>) ):

* AUX+ → NPWR
* AUX- → GND
* RC- - nc (connected to AUX- internally)
* RC+ → P1.24

The [configuration](https://github.com/hackerembassy/infra/commit/413ee7afad3156187e8d0291f996c1d16e41a1a9) of the node has also been updated both on the machine and in Git.
